Drop count tests are the simplest form of test for many industrial water parameters. Just take a sample of the water, add an indicator tablet or a drop of indicator solution, then add the test reagent drop by drop until a colour change takes place. The test result is calculated from the number of drops of reagent used. What could be easier!
